Updated Nashville Showroom Post Tornado
The Recovery Was Difficult, But We Did it For Our Customers.
3rd March 2020 was a deadly day in the history of the city of Nashville. Four separate tornadoes hit the Middle of Tennessee. One of these four tornadoes stayed for more than 50 miles. The tornado reached a wind speed of over 175 miles per hour and battered everything that came in its way. It was devastating. Nashville was hit hard from the metro area to the suburbs and rural counties, especially East Nashville.
Just like the majority of the businesses, our Artisan Custom Closets showroom in Nashville was also hit hard. The damages caused to our showroom had both an emotional and economic impact on us.
The tornado cut a swath of destruction, which is easy to gauge by the damages seen post-tornado. According to Nashville Fire Department, approximately forty structures collapsed around the city and snapped hundreds of power supply poles and trees. Unfortunately, around 25 individuals lost their lives, and roughly 400 homes and 200 businesses were destroyed.
Although the damage and destruction caused to our Nashville showroom are indescribable, each team member was committed and had high spirits to repair the damages and restore the showroom post-tornado. And that is precisely what we did.

Indeed the recovery in 2020 post-tornado was the hardest. The onset of the pandemic made our efforts to repair and restore our showroom challenging. The recovery was slow, but we are glad that we got through. Our Nashville showroom is now repaired and updated post-tornado.
